New instructions for foreigners wishing to travel to Israel from April 7, 2021.

Chapter A: Vaccinated and / or infected foreign travelers

These people will only be able to apply for entry into Israel if they meet the following two conditions:

- The traveler is vaccinated with COVID-19 and has a first degree family member (parents, children, siblings) (first degree) living in Israel.

- He was previously infected with Covid-19 and he is traveling to visit a member of his family in the first degree (parents, children, brothers and sisters). Grandparents and grandchildren are not considered first degree parents.

In addition, travelers who will receive an entry permit must bring the following documents to travel:

- A negative PCR test dating less than 72 hours before takeoff (for all and at any age).

- Medical insurance mentioning coverage for the traveler in Israel, including and specifically in the event of COVID-19.

In addition, it should be noted that foreign travelers with an entry permit will be subject to the obligation to comply with confinement for fourteen days upon their arrival in Israel. They must accept the wearing of an electronic bracelet until their status as vaccinated and / or convalescent is recognized and they receive the authorization to lift confinement.

1) Travelers must present a document certifying that they have been vaccinated (two doses) or that they have been contaminated (two PCR tests - positive and negative). You must send us documents from a medical analysis laboratory, and not from your attending physician.

2) Any foreigner wishing to return to Israel must produce a health certificate by visiting the website of the Ministry of Health at the address:

https://govforms.gov.il/mw/forms/Quarantine%40health.gov.il (the site is in English and Hebrew).

3) Travel authorization requests should be made to the following address: bidud@paris.mfa.gov.il (you must not make a request more than 14 days before the date of your departure , and are requested to do not buy your plane ticket before receiving a response to your email). We will do our best to respond to you within seven working days of receiving your email.

4) Anyone who does not respect the confinement ("bidud") will subsequently be refused permission to travel to Israel.

5) Since
children are not eligible for the COVID-19 vaccination, only those who have already been infected with the virus and who have recovered from it will be able to travel to Israel.

6) In order to shorten the period of isolation, a vaccinated or cured person should perform a
serological test in Israel in an analysis laboratory approved by the Israeli Ministry of Health Lists of laboratories.pdf and wear the electronic bracelet during the period isolation.

7) After obtaining the results, the traveler must contact the Ministry of Health to obtain the release from containment authorization form. Without obtaining this document, it is forbidden to leave the confinement.
